Who we are

We are a small group of mediators who have worked within the mediation practice for over 10 years. Our lead mediator has been a general practice solicitor, for over 25 years and consequently trained as a mediator. Since working in the mediation sector, we have had time to polish and perfect our mediation skills to provide and empower, people, businesses and organisations with a new way of seeing.

Lead Mediator - Winnie Onyekwere

​​Winnie has a dual background as a contentious and non - contentious consultant solicitor (np) and mediator. She brings over 28 years of combined consultant experience helping and facilitating individuals, businesses, organisations and workplace to resolve in interpersonal and legal disputes with mediation.

​Her full time mediation work focuses on the civil, commercial and workplace sectors.

​Winnie is a natural communicator bringing together the parties in mediation and supporting them through the process, 

.with a great deal of hands on experience gaining the co-operation of those who work with her in helping to resolve problem.

Her success as a mediator is her keen analytical and sound legal knowledge, good grasp of business and achieving results in un-seemingly unmanageable situations. 

​She specialises in commercial and workplace and civil disputes. Winnie trained with National Dispute Resolution and is accredited with the Civil Mediation Council as a Civil, Commercial and Workplace Mediator. She also volunteers with Calm Mediation as a Neighbour and Community Mediator.

Louise Leigh

​Louise has spent the last 15 years running a busy successful property management solutions business in addition to working as a mediator. She offers a calm, practical, problem solving approach to help parties achieve a workable solution to their dispute.

​Her mediation focuses on the commercial and workplace sectors with a specialisation in land and property in both commercial and residential, where she has considerable experience and impressive rate of success.

Louise manages to combine a friendly and interpersonal approach with a common sense and practical approach to keep the parties confined and look beyond their positional interests to find creative solutions.

Louise trained with Align and is accredited with the Civil Mediation Council as a Civil, Commercial and Workplace Mediator.

Rajah Thavalou

Rajah is a civil and commercial Mediator, Arbitrator (MCIArb) and a Consultant Solicitor. He lectured for many years on the Company and Commercial law subjects at various universities in the UK and Europe. He currently provides commercial litigation training/lectures to lawyers on the International Sale of Goods and Construction Laws in Africa.

Rajah specialises in all aspects of commercial mediation and arbitration. His focus is on resolving problems and finding solutions for businesses, contracts, shareholders, board, contract and employment.

​Rajah has a wealth of commercial experience, understanding of the law and procedure. This  makes him suitable in finding solutions to complex problems when clients are facing crisis or potentially radical changes.

Rajah trained with National Dispute Resolution and is accredited with the Civil Mediation Council as a Civil, Commercial and Workplace Mediator.
